Ed Escobar (born April 1986) is a Colombian / Spanish Mixed Media Artist based in Spain. E M P T Y is his alias as a music producer and live performer.

E M P T Y SOUNDS

E M P T Y specialized in dark and extreme forms of techno. The artist explores the human psyche and states of consciousness induced by repetitive rhythms. His sounds converge from the vanguard of hard techno, dark hypnotic sci-fi with dystopian glitch and drums.

E M P T Y revealed that he has "a lot of music in the pipe" as well as a new EP on the horizon.

E M P T Y has spread his music through labels such as Triangle Sounds (RIP) (Uk), Chip Musik (Peru), Axiom Mussikkia (Spain), and collaborated on different occasions in V / A compilations for Touched Music (Uk)

He created remixes of artists such as Squarepusher, Mushrooms Season,  Min-Y-Llan, Z - Arc, Cypress Hill among others and shared the stage with artists such as Stef Urko, Neon Fluxus, Dead Tapes, Glitch Girl, Sputnik Pussy, Rarek, Liños among others...

He also has played "livestream" beside artist like Mist Gasp, klausgreen, and Lefrenk.
