D'ARCANGELO, IT
Active since 1993, the D'Arcangelo brothers continue to evolve in the electronic music scene, consistently offering fresh and interesting listening experiences. They began their career on the Italian ACV's Hot Trax label, alongside artists like Leo Anibaldi and Robert Armani. Their hard techno project, 'Automatic Sound Unlimited,' included a third member, DJ Max Durante, and produced three releases before transitioning to a more personal project for the 'Out Of Orbit' label called 'Automia Division.' This project marked a shift to a more electronic and melodic phase. Following this, they released their first album under the alias Monomorph for the Italian label 'Disturbance.'
In 1994, in collaboration with DJ Marco Lenzi, they founded the London-based techno label 'Molecular Recordings,' which is still active and managed by Marco Lenzi. That same year, they caught the attention of Aphex Twin and Grant Wilson Clardige's label, REPHLEX, with whom they collaborated until the label's closure.
Since then, they have continued to produce music for numerous international labels, including Canada's 'Suction Records,' Spain's 'Analogical Force,' England's 'Furthur Electronix' and 'Happy Skull,' and, most recently, Australia's 'A Colorful Storm.' Additionally, they have made many appearances and collaborated on various compilations and remixes under several aliases, such as Midcentury Boys and Undiagnosed.
